pulsar Space, was represented by part of its team in the Copernicus Training and Information session, for Green and Smart Cities, organized by the European Commission in Seville on October 4, 2018.
The opening was made by Herbert Allgeier, founding father of the Copernicus program and former General Director of DG JRC (European Commission).
We have the presentations among others Andrea Julia Perez-Carro (CDTI), Juan Garcés de Marcilla, European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), Miguel Ángel López, President of AEMET, José Sobrino, President of the Spanish Association of Teledetección and María Cabello, Director of European projects, Tracasa. Contractor of the European Environment Agency and ECMWF.
Note the phrase of Andres Veispak "Copernicus costs for each citizen of the European Union € 1 and generates a return of € 3.2"
Undoubtedly a very interesting event and mandatory attendance, where the multiple components that comprise the Copernicus Program were represented from users, companies, administrations, researchers, Agencies and the European Commission.
